That Susan B. Anthony quote is a big keeper. You are right to draw our attention to those who have fought the good fight. The work is never done.

A substantive interview with an excellent facilitator. I found the vision of the authors and their eloquence highly motivating and infectious. This is not the history that I learned in school. Nor is it a history I encounter in most museums or public discourse. Hooray to these authors for what they have accomplished. I was particularly struck by one the sisters' comments about how many women of consequence and important in their own time have quietly disappeared from the story--as if their contributions never happened.

I LOVE this editorial. You guys ROCK for following your gut instincts and going to the trouble to correct the record. BTW, there is a great new children's book on Daisy Bates just out this year - so glad the lady is finally getting her due in wide exposure. Thanks for helping the cause.

Comments: I am reading and studying this book. I am impressed with the detail that the authors have gone into about each subject. Their research is remarkable. I would love to see this as a text book someday. I feel that women have been over looked far to long, showing how they helped in the founding of our nation. My question is how many woman hours did it take in research for this book? Thanks for doing such an incredable job in writing this book!
